Wauseon, OH – August 2017 – The most recent addition to our 3D prototyping capabilities is our recent purchase of a new Objet 30 Prime 3D printer. This new machine utilizes PolyJet Technology, as opposed to our existing FDM 3D printing capabilities, which works by dropping microscopic layers of liquid photopolymer onto a build tray and curing it with a UV light.
Parts can be built from a variety of material (pictured below) and result in smooth surfaces and fine precision. The build envelope of our new Rapid Prototyping machine is (XYZ) 11.5″ x 7.5″ x 5.8″ with a tolerance of ± .0039″.
