Our New line of Electric Servo Driven machines introduced at Fabtech

After previewing our new line of electric machines at Fabtech 2007, we are now manufacturing and assembling machines to fill customer orders.

Our electric (no hydraulics) servo driven machines are manufactured for quality and improvements in increased flexibility, decreased cycle time, and clean quiet operation. Wauseon’s 6000 Series Machines are an integrated solution of two endforming or endforming/endfinishing operations in a single machine. Our Model 21EL endforming machine is capable of rolling or cutting the most complex configurations on tube ends.

In compliance with our mission to provide products innovative to the industry, Wauseon’s electric Model 21EL endfinisher, along with the 6000 series Model 64EE and Model 63DE/EE, have been built for efficient improvements in cycle time and set-up time reduction. Tool position axis capability on the electric endfinisher is 4.46 CPK compared to the hydraulic machine CPK of 2.67.  The tool close axis has consequently been enhanced, improving from a 1.67 CPK on hydraulic machines to a 2.21 CPK on the electric endfinishers.

Model 21EL

This electric model Rotary Endfinisher offers:

·  Quick tool change and setups

·  Independent control of tool close, position, and flag stop setting from touch panel

·  Complete touch panel operation

Model 64EE

Designed with a Fanuc Robot Arm Integrated for autoload/unload operations, this electric endforming/endfinishing machine loads raw stock and unloads finished goods.

Model 63DE/EE

Both 6300 machines are electric and automation ready to fabricate tube endforms with no maximum tube length limitations.

Model 64EE and Models 63DE/EE offer the following standard features:

·  Uses Existing Endform/Endfinish tooling

·  Quick tool change and setups                                    

·  Multiple tool setups                                                              

·  Uses common components from our

 standard line of in stock equipment

Along with the 64EE and 63DE/EE models in the 6000 series, Wauseon continues to offer our line of standard machines and the Model 62D/EE machines powered with traditional hydraulics.

Model 62DE/EE

Wauseon’s 6200 machines are hydraulically powered and automation ready to perform our integrated solution of two endforming or endforming/endfinishing operations.

Model 6100EE

Hydraulically powered, our 6100 endforming/endfinishing machine offers low pressure lock-up and precision tube stop locator.
